The pyschopathic deceitful ghouls need all the fossil fuel to operate thousands of AI data centers. The proles will be relegated to electric vehicles, or ultimately self-driving cars.

The objective is to herd millions into smart cities China-style without all the pretty bells and whistles. 😁

The Sustainability Agenda actually means ensuring thousands of AI surveillance data centers are sustained via the natural resources confiscated from "powerless plebs." Excuse the pun.😆

Case in point. Everyone will pay the cost of extracting this energy except the techno/fascists with their billion dollar government contracts.

Once again, many thanks, Riley, for exposing the ugly capitalist exploitative nature of BRICS, which often masquerades as some sort of progressive alternative for the world's non elites, a charade which is readily taken up by Western dissident commentators, analysts and activists, desperate to see someone, anyone who might offer "hope."

Climate chaos, a worsening crisis induced by the operations of the global industrial capitalist system, is very real. But "solutions" like carbon markets, EVs, "green" tech, the "Green New Deal,"... are just efforts by the elites to use it to further their own business schemes as well as advance the 24/7 surveillance/control agenda known as 4IR, Agenda2030, UN SDGs,....

In preparation for the COP30 summit in Belem, the Brazilian government clear cut tens of thousands of acres of Amazon rain forest to construct as 6-lanes freeway which will provide better access to the location. A large part of the world's lungs will be replaced by a ... highly polluting superhighway, no matter how the vehicles using it are powered. If this was related to the world a few years ago, it would have been regarded as parody, a sequel to the 1985 classic movie "Brazil,." But here we are.

More like ugly Crony-capitalist exploitative nature of BRICS. Many confuse capitalism with cronyism. We should call it what it is cronyism.

Jeffrey Strahl's avatar

Vs what, "real" capitalism? It's a system which came into being in late medieval rural England via the mass theft of the hereditary lands of subsistence farmers by the large landlords, who surrounded these lands with fences. They did the same with more and more of the commons. The enlarged estates were turned into the first truly capitalist enterprises, functioning to produce cash crops en masse for the market, utilizing the labor of a few of the former residents, rendered into wage workers. These enterprises competed with each other for investment funds by offering high profits and striving to improve their productivity via all sorts of innovations. This was to lead to the Industrial Revolution, with the dispossessed former farmers turned into wage workers toiling in sweat shops and early factories. From its start, this was a rapacious system, intent upon turning everyone into wage slaves (anyone but the capitalists, that is) and rendering all that is natural and living into dead commodities, It spread to the rest of the world and to every realm of life, now doing so to our very inner biologies via 4IR mass surveillance.

Sorry to burst illusions, but there's such a thing as historical facts.

No, you attempt a typical smear in your response.

Real capitalism is using ones own capital to increase ones personal wealth legitimately, opposed to the PPP system of Crony-Capitalism using the state (government) to aid the enterprises using legal plunder.

Freemason Marxists have sullied the term of capitalism to make communism look pretty.

Not at all sorry to burst your bubble.

Jeffrey Strahl's avatar

Show us with historical data, please, like the article i posted here did. Using one's own capital? What a laugh. Only via purchasing the ability of others to do work, others who must sell that ability in turn for a wage because that's their only way of obtaining subsistence needs, does a capitalist increase his/her personal wealth. That, and via looting the land for its resources.

More examples.

More stuff, with ample citations.

I wouldn't be able to convince you with any facts. Your mind is closed when it comes to capitalism Mr Strahl Marx.

You for same absurd reason don't accept the very basic fact that capitalism is private ownership of (and thus control, and benefit from) the means of production.

It is quite natural for individuals to increase their wealth by employing their personal Capital(money) as they see fit. As I said you are confused and Don't understand what Crony Capitalism is.

I'll put it into a nutshell its regulated capitalism which is interventionism.

Cronyism is a form of favoritism and corruption where individuals in positions of power or authority provide preferential treatment, appointments, or advantages to friends, associates, or loyal supporters, regardless of their qualifications or merit.

Here is some reading for you: Caveat- you won't like it.

https://thedailyeconomy.org/article/wait-for-it-its-capitalisms-fault/

Jeffrey Strahl's avatar

Capitalism is not about private ownership of the means of production. Such means were privately owned under feudalism, slave societies, .... Unless you wanna argue that all those were just forms of capitalism, that is. what distinguishes capitalism is... CAPITAL. It is not things, but a social relationship. Capital is a sum of money or its equivalent in means of production, raw materials,...used in order to create a larger sum of money (hence to capitalize on...) And this only became possible starting in late Medieval England via The Enclosures, the mass dispossession of subsistence farmers, whose lands were enclosed by fences put up by the large landlords, who also enclosed commons lands.

As i expected, there is ZERO HISTORY in your reference, which makes out capitalism to be eternal, always been here. Thus, capitalism is the only system which has ever been, yet at the same time it is argued that it is the best system that's ever been. Ahistorical bullshit.

Everyone wants in on the opportunity for grift. I'll believe they are truly serious when it is applied to carbon used by NATO and BRICS military forces and fully accounted for from all aspects of war including the military destruction of assets containing embedded energy. That goes double for satellite and space exploration launches.

SmithFS's avatar

Satellite and space exploration launches are trivial compared to military carbon releases. Plus a whole lot more of a large variety of environmental toxins released by all the destruction that they cause.

One lone voice's avatar

It's not the actual emissions from launches but the energy consumed in manufacturing the fuels and all the exotic materials in the vehicles and electronics which use carbon containing fuels and energy derived from carbon in their production. The "experts" ignoring the entire cycle from raw materials extraction to ultimate disposal of residuals implies ignorance or hypocrisy.

SmithFS's avatar

Yes, that's called full lifecycle emissions done with LCA (lifecycle analysis). That does increase emissions, including GHG emissions, but the level is utterly insignificant compared to the same done to military hardware. Never mind all the death & destruction that they cause, like blowing up oil & gas pipelines and attacking refineries. Massive toxic emissions.

Satellite and space exploration are a minor component of human emissions, GHG or otherwise.

All governments are merely the public relations firms for the owners of the world. Everything they say is a con.

They can fool most of the people most of the time, and that's enough to keep the con going.

What does it say about humans that they always choose the most stupid, corrupt and insane to lead them?

The two greatest deterrents to faith in the human race are religion and government.

Legitimate government for the common good may be possible.

What we have is government of the people, by the rich for the rich.

True faith is one thing.

Religion is another thing entirely.

Governments and religions clone people.

Raising the inevitable question: are they both cults?

SmithFS's avatar

If they REALLY cared about emissions (hint: they don't), they would institute the Revenue Neutral Carbon Fee & Dividend. The CF&D penalizes the energy hog rich and rewards the energy frugal middle class & poor. While carbon trading grants government guaranteed giant profits for the wealthy. Really just another devious wealth transfer scheme from the Middle Class to the Rich. Very important, that you must also eliminate all the preferential subsidies, mandates and exemptions given to the political favorites wind & solar. They are favorites because they cost $trillions but do zip to reduce fossil consumption, apart from causing energy poverty --> reduced emissions. The Net Zero, carbon credits trading operation is just a giant greenwashing scam, almost entirely worthless:

Your timeline of BRICS carbon market development is solid reporting. Interesting that they peck the same day to meet as the iso token basket goues live?!?!?!

The chronological mapping from September through October shows coordinated infrastructure building, not random policy experiments.

The timing of this G20 summit in South Africa has a dimension your piece hints at but doesn't fully unpack. France is attending th

is summit in a fundamentally weakened position after getting ejected from Burkina Faso in 2022. That ejection wasn't symbolic; it severed 79 years of resource extraction pipelines that materially contributed to French economic stability.

Now France shows up to a BRICS-hosted G20 where the explicit agenda is "sustainable financing for development" and "equitable transitions." Translation: the old extraction model failed, here are the replacement systems.

The carbon market infrastructure you documented is part of that replacement architecture.

BRICS members are showcasing financial mechanisms that don't require Western participation or validation.

The colonial power that extracted wealth for decades now sits in a room where the hosts are demonstrating they've built parallel infrastructure.

I will be busy with the behavioural analysis of this meeting.

Slavsquat:

I've been tracking this pattern across three related pieces that might interest you:

Your carbon market documentation shows the financial infrastructure side of what I'm seeing as a broader pattern of parallel system building. Different angle, same structural shift.

If you want to cross-reference or find contradiction in my analysis happy to share a discussion.

Solid work on the timeline construction.

Speaking of carbon. The Central Bank Mafia whom run the Western World are the real force behind the Climate Change Fear Scam. And they are the ones pushing the Wind & Solar, Energy Scarcity / Energy Poverty scam to keep energy profits high and us serfs impoverished. To achieve that they've had to blockade & suppress Nuclear energy, the cleanest source of energy, and the only one capable of replacing Fossil and achieving an Energy Plentiful civilization. No energy scarcity. Though it shows the utter hypocrisy of their Climate Change imperatives.

So they've been having their proxies in Ukraine shell the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power plant. The IAEA knows this but won't admit it. While the MSM spreads fear porn about that while hinting that Russia is doing it - shelling their own plant that they are operating.

They also had their Ukrainian proxies invade Russia, Kursk region. Captured Ukrainian soldiers admitted they had plans to attack the Kursk NPPs, two of the vintage Chernobyl type plants, hoping to cause another couple Chernobyl meltdown/explosions. Also they attempted to attack Nuclear weapon storage sites apparently.

Having been unsuccessful at all of that, now Russian intelligence is warning that they've uncovered a plot to attack the Zaporizhzhia NPPs causing a large radiation release that affects Western Europe. And of course blaming it on Russia. Giving them an excuse to send troops to Ukraine. And spreading more FUD about their arch-enemy, Nuclear power.

SVR Warns: NATO ‘Ready To Kill Civilians For Propaganda’ | Times Now World:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yCOq9rr5TtY

"Russia’s Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) has accused NATO of plotting a false-flag nuclear incident at Ukraine’s Zaporizhzhia power plant to blame Moscow, drawing parallels with the 2014 MH17 tragedy. The SVR claims British think-tank Chatham House modeled the fallout scenario, while Russian Security Council Secretary Sergei Shoigu warned of Europe’s growing militarisation and alleged Western interference in Moldova. President Vladimir Putin echoed the charge, accusing Western intelligence services of financing provocateurs to sow discord and push a so-called “Post-Russia” agenda. Moscow says the West’s hybrid warfare now spans nuclear sabotage, information control, and ideological manipulation."

The first test case for "You will own nothing and be happy ..." has already been piloted in South Africa (where else?). The Expropriation [of any property if it is deemed "in the public interest"] *without compensation* Act a.k.a. as the EWC Act was signed AT DAVOS by the S.A. president on Thursday 24th of January.

Remember "back in the day" when alt-media actually used to care about the WEF's "You will own nothing and be happy"? Yet when it comes to South Africa they are mute - nothing to see there folks ... (mostly, this article by Riley being a pleasant exception). Of course if EWC succeeds in S.A. it's likely to be implemented elsewhere ... and already started in Canada apparently. WEF and World Bank supports EWC as long as it is done "orderly and according to rules" (and by signing an act the rules are created).

It is quite discouraging to realize how money/finance can be controlled by a concept (carbon credits) based on fantasy and lies, and money itself being an even more misunderstood concept based on deceit! A significant percentage of people must have some doubt as to the truth regarding these two topics, but choose to go along/participate as the best chance for survival? I am not aware of what I could/should be doing to fight against this agenda, other than trying to help others become interested and learn just how terrible the situation is, and how it will become much worse.
