Ever since that defeat, Labour have halfheartedly tried to reintroduce it several times. But it seems the new route the UK government are adopting is a digital ID via the backdoor, centred around a pre-existing identity. In the US, several states are digitialising driving licences.
If WW3 follows the same pattern, it is also an attempt to foist even bigger intrusions upon privacy. Given the public outright rejected vaccine mandated IDs (such as 'ID2020'), the globalists now have to invent a new scheme.
Also, recently, the US government quietly banned Monero and any other 'hashcoin' that 'intentionally hides the source of a transaction'. Bitcoin remains unbanned and morons still flock to it like the naive lemmings they are.
A so-called normal life without manufactured anxiety is no longer possible as that's been irrevocably replaced by state-run MSM's relentless psychological warfare. There ceases to be a moment when citizens are not nonconfronted with a crisis conveniently imposing authoritarian solutions under the pretext of keeping them safe. Michael Malice was on Jimmy Dore last night and he made a good point that today is not as bad as the past. In the past, people just disappeared, or were blacklisted for life. It can't happen that way anymore on a big level like it used to.

Anyway, it was nice to see that they agreed on the issues of government and corporate control.

Also, the other weekend, I saw the movie Starship Troopers and realized why they ended up in hard technocratic fascism.
The people in that movie had relatively easy lives, with a good economy and apparent peace.
Despite that, they volunteered for wars on other planets because they wanted to defend their good lives.
They also had great technology that could cure diseases and regrow limbs. Medicine today causes disease and makes you lose limbs.
The one interesting thing about the technology in the movie was that interactive TV was their bread and butter and personal communications were more like video phones.
Perhaps the internet we got is harder to keep people deaf, dumb, and blind to the truth.
