"Why did Russia's largest bank empty its gold"

Strange that Russia acts like a defeated power, when geopolitical analysts find it certain that it is ready to win any war against any competitor. That brings us to a crucial issue. As Jim Jatras says at 45th minute here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6FlgZABHBdM, how does this global control work is a key question. You would need to have at least a moderately good idea of how this monster works, in order to oppose it with any effectiveness.

And strangely, all the 'alternative' media appear to be silent on this topic.

Anyone who would carry a discussion about it would deserve our gratitude.

Putin's approval rating is still very high by Western standards, hovering in the 60-70% range https://www.levada.ru/en/ Maybe they like cattle tags after all?

interesting how, according to Levada, Russians' dislike for QR codes is basically equal to their approval of Putin: https://www.levada.ru/en/2021/12/16/russians-attitude-to-mandatory-coronavirus-vaccination-and-qr-codes/

my take is that probably regional governors/the big fanatics at the federal level (Popova, Golikova, others) are seen as the main villains.

Putin is good only at two things, but these two tricks he mastered throughout his career to the level of high art:

1. Putin is THE master of not taking personal responsibility for anything that he does and instead shifting it to other parties, like regional governments, ministers, US, Europe, circumstances, if it will come to that - extraterrestrials or approaching planet Nibiru. Whatever it takes, only not to admit past and present mistakes.

2. He is exceptionally gifted in pulling the wool over people's eyes. Presenting a pseudo patriotic facade his every action, not words, promotes globalist agenda and a loss of sovereignty by Russia, but magically only a minority of Russians see through discrepancy in his actions and his words.

But isn't that the case in Western societies too? Ask Americans today about the events of September of 2001, most will regurgitate the official story without giving a second thought to the fact that it is impossible to pulverize three steel frame skyscrapers with just two planes full of kerosene.

Yes, my father worked for Sirte Oil. We were expats living in Marsa El Brega, my dad even met Col. Gaddafi. It’s was a wild time. I have tons of pictures, it was so beautiful!

Fire at will! I was 15-20 years old when I used to travel back and forth from Canada - Germany - Malta - Libya. We also lived in France and Austria around that time. Eventually when things got “Hairy” only my dad travelled back and forth until he retired in 2000 (forcible retirement).

How did people feel about Gaddafi? what was the quality of life like there? is it true that the govt provided a range of social benefits?

Expand full comment

Well it was a very wealthy country and I remember thinking the first time I landed in the airport “what a disgusting shit hole!” I was terrified (I was 15 and my parents let me fly into Tripoli alone🤣). I just followed the hand gestures! Anyway, I was shocked to see men walking around holding hands, it’s the norm. Of course you didn’t see women unless they were working. Lots of machine guns. Everywhere there were banners, billboards, posters of Gaddafi, his slogans, promoting his Green Book.

The people loved Gaddafi. All the people we ever interacted with at that time loved him. The markets were open and operating, the shelves were stocked with Libyan goods but there was a good economy. Tripoli was a bustling city. We lived in Brega so we would fly from Tripoli to the Gulf of Sirte where there was a residential camp right next to the refinery. I’m trying to remember the population there. Let’s say there were 2000, 1/3 were expats from UK, Canada, Yugoslavia (we had many friendswho would eventually become enemies with each other due to the Croatian war), Ireland, Korea and the rest were Libyan. They had an English school up to grade 7 after that expats went to boarding schools of their choosing. There was a school for Libyan kids there as well. Everyone who lived in the camp was allowed to use all the services which were all free: beach club with a pool and dining, tennis, golf (in the desert), sailing. So every holiday us expat kids would travel from school to Libya. Then we would get together EVERY night and party at someones house. One of our parents inevitably brewed their own alcohol so we would get pissed off hooch and if we were lucky Belgasum would swing around with some hash🤣🤣🤣. Of course we all eventually grew up and out of this. I actually took a whole winter after I graduated from high school to work as a secretary in the Mechanical department, sending, wait for it…..telexes! I’d have to decipher the chicken scratch barely English messages and send them wherever. Oh my God Riley I am sorry for the ramble but the memories are FLOODING back. I can SMELL the hot air, paved streets, sweat (the sweat, oh my god you could smell the sweat as soon as you got off the plane!!!)and the salty sea….thank you for bringing me back!

Anyway, Social benefits. I know no one suffered due to lack of medical attention, the young had great teeth, better then my English friends.🤣. School, university all free.(don’t ask about the quality. Rich Libyans sent their kids out of the country.)

Like always, when people suffered it was due to sanctions.

We brought stuff for them all the time.

Corruption was rampant of course but that’s nothing new. I guess because I was a teen the politics did not strike me so much as the culture. Their love and defense of Gaddafi was palpable but above all is their religion. THAT struck me the most. Their religion is EVERYTHING. You know something, in all my time there no one peddled their religion on me.

In any case I have lived in a lot of countries and I just loved living there. Of course all the corrupt players made it out of there, their kids are out doing whatever. The good ones are probably with Allah.

Peace from Communist Canada (Gaddafi treated his people better than Trudeau, put that in your pipe and smoke it)✌️

How come every country has a (1) clown pretending to be a doctor who's advising the government? Gintsburg in Russia, Fauci in the US of A... and the German guy, who isn't a real doctor as some claim, is the one who published the pcr protocol which was "peer-reviewed" within one day.

Quebec actually doesn't anymore. Turns out even a clown like Arruda will eventually say "no" more times than a fascist like Legault can stand. He also kept wearing cloth masks at press briefings as other government doctors started pushing N95s, and people noticed.

Of course, that's just one province. Canada still has Dr Tam.

The Books That You Must Read In order To Fathom The Corrupt System Of Government that enables the Fraudulent and Criminal Modern Medical Science and Its Vaccine's Criminality

Apart from the latest book “The Real Anthony Fauci” by RFK Jr

I strongly recommend these two books that are the MUST READ in order to fathom such corruptive system of government we are living under. We are ruled by a bunch of criminal psychopaths. Freedoms, democracy are all myths and illusions. The statist system of government authority is incompatible with liberty. Under this system, virtues, morality , human decency, humane compassion all become detriments to one’s life. Under this system of government authority, only crooks, criminals, psychopaths can thrive and succeed!

PLEASE READ to EDUCATE YOURSELF It is the solution for this pandemic of NOT THINKING!

Here is an excerpt from “The Invisible RainBow A History of Electricity and Life” by Arthur Firstenberg. at the end of Chapter 8-Mystery on the Isle of Wight (Pages 106-107)

“““… Although the infectious nature of this illness was widely assumed, masks, quarantines, and isolation were all without effect.24 Even in an isolated country like Iceland the flu spread universally, in spite of the quarantining of its victims.25

The disease seemed to spread impossibly fast. “There is no reason to suppose that it traveled more rapidly than persons could travel [but] it has appeared to do so,” wrote Dr. George A. Soper, Major in the United States Army.26

But most revealing of all were the various heroic attempts to prove the infectious nature of this disease, using volunteers. All these attempts, made in November and December 1918 and in February and March 1919, failed. One medical team in Boston, working for the United States Public Health Service, tried to infect one hundred healthy volunteers between the ages of eighteen and twenty-five. Their efforts were impressive and make entertaining reading:

“We collected the material and mucous secretions of the mouth and nose and throat and bronchi from cases of the disease and transferred this to our volunteers. We always obtained this material in the same way. The patient with fever, in bed, had a large, shallow, traylike arrangement before him or her, and we washed out one nostril with some sterile salt solutions, using perhaps 5 c.c., which is allowed to run into the tray; and that nostril is blown vigorously into the tray. This is repeated with the other nostril. The patient then gargles with some of the solution. Next we obtain some bronchial mucus through coughing, and then we swab the mucous surface of each nares and also the mucous surface of the throat… Each one of the volunteers… received 6 c.c. of the mixed stuff that I have described. They received it into each nostril; received it in the throat, and on the eye; and when you think that 6 c.c. in all was used, you will understand that some of it was swallowed. None of them took sick.”

In a further experiment with new volunteers and donors, the salt solution was eliminated, and with cotton swabs, the material was transferred directly from nose to nose and from throat to throat, using donors in the first, second, or third day of the disease. “None of these volunteers who received the material thus directly transferred from cases took sick in any way… All of the volunteers received at least two, and some of them three ‘shots’ as they expressed it.”

In a further experiment 20 c.c. of blood from each of five sick donors were mixed and injected into each volunteer. “None of them took sick in any way.”

“Then we collected a lot of mucous material from the upper respiratory tract, and filtered it through Mandler filters. This filtrate was injected into ten volunteers, each one receiving 3.5 c.c. subcutaneously, and none of these took sick in any way.”

Then a further attempt was made to transfer the disease “in the natural way,” using fresh volunteers and donors: “The volunteer was led up to the bedside of the patient; he was introduced.

He sat down alongside the bed of the patients. They shook hands, and by instructions, he got as close as he conveniently could, and they talked for five minutes. At the end of the five minutes, the patient breathed out as hard as he could, while the volunteer, muzzle to muzzle (in accordance with his instructions, about 2 inches between the two), received this expired breath, and at the same time was breathing in as the patient breathed out… After they had done this for five times, the patient coughed directly into the face of the volunteer, face to face, five different times… [Then] he moved to the next patient whom we had selected, and repeated this, and so on, until this volunteer had had that sort of contact with ten different cases of influenza, in different stages of the disease, mostly fresh cases, none of them more than three days old… None of them took sick in any way.”

“We entered the outbreak with a notion that we knew the cause of the disease, and were quite sure we knew how it was transmitted from person to person. Perhaps, ”concluded Dr. Milton Rosenau, “if we have learned anything, it is that we are not quite sure what we know about the disease.”27 Earlier attempts to demonstrate ontagion in horses had met with the same resounding failure. Healthy horses were kept in close contact with sick ones during all stages of the disease. Nose bags were kept on horses that had nasal discharges and high temperatures. Those nose bags were used to contain food for other horses which, however, stubbornly remained healthy. As a result of these and other attempts, Lieutenant Colonel Herbert Watkins-Pitchford of the British Army Veterinary Corps wrote in July 1917 that he could find no evidence that influenza was ever spread directly from one horse to another. The other two influenza pandemics of the twentieth century, in 1957 and 1968, were also associated with milestones of electrical technology, pioneered once again by the United States…”””

Yes, I know a family where the wife and husband got sick from COVID, their daughter and 88-year old grandma didn't - repeatedly.

I spent all day working with a friend who got a confirmation of a "positive PCR test" as we were wrapping up our work. He lost his sense of smell and taste with zero other symptoms, I had no symptoms and zero antibodies in a test a few weeks later.

Many other examples like that

1- How do you know that you had Covid?

Some weeks ago I asked an auto-mechanist friend who believes in the “PCR cases" . “What if I told you I fitted a manometer into my fuel tank (instead of level measurement)..and tell you what this manometer reads on my fuel tank?” He replied “whatever it says is meaningless” since manometer does not measure fuel level. It measures pressure! I told him the same is true with the PCR to viral infection! Meaningless!

Not sure how much I trust this Patrick Armstrong guy but he says flat-out that Russia will not invade:

https://patrickarmstrong.ca/2022/02/09/ukraine-russia-china-and-the-new-world/

Of course he also says Russia will "smash" Ukrainian forces if they invade the LDNR. (And that "smashing" could go "some distance" into Ukraine. Up to the Dnieper? Beyond it?) Obviously it would be easy enough for Russia to stage a false flag in the LDNR so basically Armstrong is saying that Russia can give itself the green light anytime it likes.

Yeah, Ukraine/NATO could stage a false flag too if they wanted. At this point, we have a tinderbox and if one (or both) sides want war, then war will come. And it would all start with a false flag in the Donbass.

nb4. Armstrong also refers to the "Russian ultimatum." But he never hints at what the "or else" is to the ultimatum. Um, I don't even think it qualifies as an ultimatum if there is not an "or else." What's Putin gonna do? Say "Never mind, I didn't mean any of that stuff I've said recently. Just carry on with your clandestine NATO buildup in Ukraine. We're all good..."? I don't think so. At a minimum, Putin must get some concessions from the West or he loses all credibility. Would a robust implementation of the Minsk accords suffice? Perhaps. But time is ticking.

Gooday from Oztralia.

Ed, you have to explain "Slavsquat". It sounds a little crude. Or am I being prissy?

Anyway, here's a very interesting read from the US magazine "The National Interest":

https://nationalinterest.org/feature/why-washington-has-lost-its-mind-over-ukraine-200513

The author really sticks his neck out. He says that the war is off or at least postponed. For the sake of all concerned, I hope he's right. If he is, his reputation as a strategic analyst will ring down the years.

By the way, in the highly conformist city in which I live - Canberra, the national capital of Oz - 98% of people over 12 years of age are, allegedly, vaxed. Needless to say the good folk of this medically righteous city averted their gaze as tens of thousands of horrid anti-mandate protestors descended on our "bush capital", 12 February, to voice their rejection of vaccines and associated Covid mandates.

Again, I suggest reading Pepe Escobar's 2/9/22 "Do You Want a War Between Russia and NATO?" at Moscow-based Strategic-Culture.org: https://www.strategic-culture.org/news/2022/02/09/do-you-want-a-war-between-russia-and-nato/ But this time pay special attention to his link to the 2/4/22 Putin-Xi meeting in Beijing and their Joint Statement with its multiple declarations of their "support for democracy"...as we watch what these two magicians are doing while hiding their other hands behind their backs: their totalitarian methods for dominating their own people...in the guise of "controlling the virus". I'm all for a multi-polar "new world order" after the collapse of American-Western Hegemony but Not to be replaced by Xi as Emperor ordering all of us zapped with digital IDs for total surveillance & control by social credit, stacked in apartment blocks with doors welded shut for "zero covid" now (as we've seen in videos smuggled out...that, and the "infected" separated out and quarantined in boxes at "concentration camps". It's past time fellow & female Westerners to break out of our covid-provoked mass psychosis and, as Stanford epidemiologist, Dr. John Ioannidis, has warned us start "Saving Democracy From the Pandemic" 1/23/22 Tablet Magazine. And I would add, despite whatever appeal Escobar's globe-trotting macho swagger generates, I have to ask why isn't he critiquing his own country's authoritarianism post-regime change of its democratically -elected Dilma Roussef (sp?) then installation of Bolsanaro...rather than pumping out pro-Eurasian propaganda for Asian Times, S-C & elsewhere? Thus, the S-C editors admonishe us: "Without deeper understanding of Chinese and Russian Civilizations and their way of thinking, Westerners simply are not equipped to get it, Pepe Escobar believes."

Well...some of us, who've been around for more than 2-3 decades had noticed that between Mao and Stalin almost all of centuries of Chinese and Russian "traditional culture" were demolished. Hence, it is intriguing as Edward has informed us, that the vast number of Russian people somehow saved their souls by means of their deeply buried & preserved Orthodox faith and/or earthen roots...enabling them to resist being QR-coded, "cattle-tagged & herded off to the gulags....again if they don't Conform!
