Our esteemed partners in the BRICS recently, yet again, reiterated their wish to see an international order where the UN, WTO and IMF is at the centre of it. And of course, as usual they insisted on the importance of Agenda 2030.

Joint Statement of the BRICS Ministers of Foreign Affairs and International Relations, Cape Town, South Africa, 1 June 2023

"2. The Ministers reiterated their commitment to strengthening multilateralism and upholding international law, including the purposes and principles enshrined in the Charter of the United Nations (UN) as its indispensable cornerstone, and the central role of the UN in an international system ..."

"6. The Ministers called for the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development in its three dimensions – economic, social and environmental – in a balanced and integrated manner by mobilising the means required to implement the 2030 Agenda. They highlighted in this regard that the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Summit, to be held in New York in September 2023, constitutes a unique opportunity for renewing international commitment to the implementation of the 2030 Agenda."

"8. The Ministers expressed their support for the free, open, transparent, fair, predictable, inclusive, equitable, non-discriminatory and rules-based multilateral trading system with the World Trade Organisation (WTO) at its core ..."

"9. They supported a robust Global Financial Safety Net with a quota-based and adequately resourced International Monetary Fund (IMF) at its centre. They called on continuing the process of IMF governance reform under the 16th General Review of Quotas, including a new quota formula as a guide, to be completed by 15 December 2023."

I hope "the hero of our time" playing the flute in the photo migrates like a clever bird to a more favorable climate during the winter months.

On a more serious note:

"Dental services in Russia have risen in price over the year. In a number of regions, according to Rosstat, prices for fillings have accelerated to 70%, for crowns—up to 130%. For prostheses, price increases have exceeded 250% [RTVI]."

In this regard Russia and the US have much in common as dental work in America is prohibitively expensive. Besides which, it's like pulling teeth finding a competent dentist who you can trust and is not just concerned about padding the bill.🦷

Most don't realize the significance of good dental health as an infection from an abscessed tooth can travel throughout the

bloodstream and into the brain. Some say, an overabundance of plaque could even cause strokes.

The point being, is that dental fees should be more regulated as dentists are increasingly becoming goniffs.

DId this fly under just my radar or was the miss more widespread in our little sector of the "information space"? Has anyone heard of that big conclave in Moscow in March that kicked off some world-wide association of Russophiles? Just last week Unz had a long piece penned by P Escobar (who is thought to be a sort of straight shooter by some in our sector). I found the tone of the whole thing to be sycophantic in the extreme. Not one single appearance of the words: oligarchs, digital, or digital ID, surveillance, vaccine, CBDG, and so forth.

"Hero of our time" - Lermontov - 1840 or so... he was the classic one-hit-wonder with that novel.

Either Pepe Escobar is not a straight shooter or he has drank so much multi-polar kool-aid that he can't tell truth from fiction. I quit reading him after the covid scamdemic woke me up to how the world really works. I liken the East/West clash to two factions of a crime syndicate that are fighting for top dog status. The East and West are building the same dystopian technocratic/transhumanist future for us. The differences in the unipolar and multipolar models are nothing more than window dressing. Kind of like Republicans vs Democrats here in the USA. Below is a link to a good article to share with family and friends that still believe in the binary illusion that the multipolar world is somehow going to be better than the unipolar world we have now. Same digital slavery system. Different name.

BTW, I have not read the article you linked to, so this is only a commentary on Escobar in general.

First carbon neutrality expo opens in Shanghai

2023-06-12 11:24:46Ecns.cnEditor : Zhao LiECNS App Download

(ECNS) -- Shanghai International Carbon Neutrality Expo in Technologies, Products and Achievements opened at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) on Sunday. An initiative on low carbon was declared at a forum of the expo, which proposed naming the opening day of the Expo, or June 11, as World Low Carbon Day.

“To achieve carbon peak and carbon neutrality is a profound systemic transformation in the economic and social aspects. Ultimately, it relies on technological innovation and requires the concerted efforts of multiple parties to promote innovative breakthroughs,” Shanghai mayor Gong Zheng said during a speech.

Shanghai will fully, accurately, and comprehensively implement the new development concept, focusing on promoting high-quality development and facilitating a comprehensive green and low-carbon transformation in economic and social development, Gong said.

"Shanghai has been always at the forefront of the nation's green and low-carbon development, technological innovation and opening-up. To hold the carbon neutrality expo is of great significance for boosting collaboration by all parties," said Yang Yinkai, deputy head of the National Development and Reform Commission.

"We hope to create a platform for exchanging green and low-carbon policies, exhibiting products and achievements and facilitating enterprise cooperation to make contributions to the global climate change fight and sustainable development," Yang said.

The world is undergoing an industrial revolution and technological transformation characterized by green and low-carbon features. Cooperation and win-win outcomes are the only way to address the challenges and difficulties in the transition to a green and low-carbon economy, said Xie Zhenhua, China's special envoy for climate change, during a video speech.

“China has consistently taken proactive measures to address climate change. We will continue to implement the '1+N' policy framework for carbon peak and carbon neutrality, strengthen exchanges and cooperation with all parties, and commit ourselves 100 percent to ‘dual-carbon’ goals,” Xie said.

An initiative on low carbon was declared at the science forum of the expo on Sunday afternoon, which proposed saving resources and protecting the environment on the part of all organizations, and all citizens to purchase sustainable products instead of disposable ones. The proposals also included naming the opening day of the Shanghai International Carbon Neutrality Expo 2023, or June 11, as World Low Carbon Day.

Titled "The Path Towards Carbon Neutrality," the expo consists of themed exhibitions, forums and trade matchmaking activities.

China is planning on transforming its business sector in accordance with ESG principles:

"29-Mar-2023

Harmonizing ESG endeavors: 2023 Boao Forum on China's path forward

As environmental, social, and governance (ESG) factors continue to reshape the future of nations and businesses, the 2023 Boao Forum for Asia gathered leading experts to address pressing ESG questions in China on Wednesday. The forum emphasized the urgency for global collaboration and the immense growth potential within the ESG landscape, focusing on disclosure requirements, performance measurement, and corporate strategy integration.

In China, efforts are underway to establish a unified national ESG standard. Government departments are proactively working on this. The China Securities Regulatory Commission and the country's three main stock exchanges urge listed firms to disclose ESG information, said Yi Xuedong, director of the Research Center affiliated with the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC) of the State Council. He added that the ESG disclosure coverage rate for state-owned listed companies is around 60 percent, with plans to achieve full coverage this year."

Hello Anri 🤗!! A french doctor, Dr Henri Joyeux, says that cow milk is really not good for humans, due to the size of the animal. It contains growth hormones for the baby to get 365 kgs/year, 1 kg per day. It caused many diseases to humans..milk from little animals (ex goats) would be much more adapted... I'm not a doctor i just repeat what he said😉

Same observations from Henri Joyeux according to the diseases due to cow milk. Breast cancers, ostéoporose, prostate cancer, auto-immune diseases, intestine porosity etc. He recommands sheep or goat milk only. If cow milk consumption is inévitable it has to be boiled to kill growth factors.
