Great investigative work, Edward! Right now I can confidently say that you are the most informed foreign (to Russia anyway) journalist in the state of the Russian healthcare system. This is a unique speciality, but apparently the world outside of Russia needs this kind of expertise too. To summarize conclusions of your article in one Shakespearean quote: "Something is rotten in the state of Denmark (Russia)". Thanks for the clip too - I still recall the time when I watched that concert live on the Soviet TV. Are the big Pharma companies in Russia like R-Pharm also protected from criminal liability? This seems to be how they are stablished and normally under the various countries Ministries like in your case Ministry of Health of Russia.
