"Сonfirmation of transferred COVID-19" mean confirmation that you have had Covid. It's a verbatim translation of Russian phrase "перенесённый ковид".

Thank you very much for the article. Looks a very grim reality over there in Moscow, and it's coming almost everywhere soon, no doubt :(

Thanks! Got it! It means having got it, having had it passed on to you, having been infected. But there's the rub! One must confirm that this transference of Covid, this infection, happened no more than 6 months prior to to one's application for a QR code. I had covid exactly 1 year ago. I got better in 3 days, I have had tests -- PMI tests (swabs up my nose) on several occasions and their results were all negative. Now would one would think that I now have immunity. But oh no! I must be vaccinated. And that does not give immunity. It must be boosted again . . . and, again and again. The whole of mankind must be continuously vaccinated. Big Pharma is in clover!

Yes, same here in Ukraine. Immunity from before 6 months doesn't count.

Ugh. Thankfully no QR codes around here where I live (Florida). Except that my employer has one - so I can't come into the office as an unvaxxed person. Fine for now since I work from home but I worry that it will become permanent - both at my current employer and at any future employer. And how long till Biden tries to make QR codes mandatory for air travel or bus/rail travel?

Actually, I think their long term goal here is to normalize QR passes among the younger generations. They don't care if older adults refuse to go along with the program. So long as young adults and children acquiesce, they will be happy.

I was under the impression that DeSantis prohibited employers and business from demanding proof of vaccination? is that not true? what's the situation in Florida in general? I thought it was one of the few relatively "free" places left in the world.

I think DeSantis's orders just prevented shops - e.g. the local Publix - from demanding a QR code. (They never really tried anyway.) But even before Biden's mandate, my company decided it wanted to mandate vaccination - at least on a "temporary" basis for those who wanted to go into the office - and they assured us that Florida law couldn't stop them. I didn't care too much because I usually worked from home even before the pandemic so it didn't affect me personally.

Overall, it has been pretty decent for me during the pandemic. It was up to individual stores on when to require masks - most did, but now they've silently dropped the requirement as the cases have gone down. The weather is always nice down here so I prefer to be out in the great outdoors anyway and there were never any restrictions at parks around here. But I definitely got out of the habit of eating out during the pandemic and am only slowly getting back into it - it's annoying, though, to be served by wait staff with muzzles on as required by their employer. I feel bad for them and it doesn't make me feel any safer. And who wants to be greeted by a blank wall with no facial expression? Basically it makes dining out more depressing so why bother.

interesting. Are there any QR codes in Florida? I've heard through the grapevine that life, at least on the surface, is pretty normal over there. ie, not a lot of masks, crazy virus fanatics, etc

Nope, no QR codes at the shops / planes / trains that I know of. Except my company badge is "de-activated" until further notice because I am not vaxxed and I am not welcome in the office as a sub-humanoid. So that is a de-facto form of QR code. I wonder what would happen if I drove to the office and tried to badge in one day - would lights and buzzers go off and the Vax Gestapo come to get me?

BTW, even though the stores dropped the mask requirements about a month ago when our case numbers plummeted, most people still seem to wear them. It's usually only about 10% or so that go maskless in the grocery store. I think it's silly that people voluntarily wear those things when no one is pressuring them to do so but whatever. I just smile at everyone and try to set a good example. Maybe one day they will overcome their fears.

And during those rows, not once did ANY of other people in the store take my side. They're like "look at us, we're all wearing masks, the law applies to everyone, why should you be an exception", and all my explanations that there is NO LAW on mask wearing and that the quarantine is illegal fall on deaf ears. So frustrating.

Wow... here masks are required (although it is technically illegal), and I'm usually the only maskless person in any store, and I used to get in rows with staff about it every time. It's very tiring, so now I'm buying groceries at the local food market whenever I can. It's the only place with no mask controllers.

Thanks for the prompt reply. Florida definitely seems to be better than Ukraine at the moment. Wish I lived there :)
