Hi ! I live in Washington state where our government and our king inslee is owned by bill gates and big tech and military industrial complex here. I never thought i would see this 6 months ago but there is growing rebellion in this state. High schoolers are saying enough of the masks and it appears what’s happening up in Canada’s capital has sparked something here in people to say no more of this crap. I am full support of the Russian people since we have more in common with them than our current rulers.

This is all funny and cute, but the big question is will Russia's patience with blatant abuse by authorities ever be exhausted? The habit of passive resistance, like telling a joke in private, among friends, or sabotaging the system by buying a fake certificate, was passed on from the times of USSR. But sometimes passive resistance is just not enough. I guess Russians are hoping that Canadians, French, Germans, Belgians and others flooding the streets in fight for their rights will do the job in overturning tyranny for them too.

It takes all kinds my friend. People are going to go as far as they want to. There is no use in blaming members of the resistance why they are not harder then the hardest. It will not encourage new people from joining.

I don't disagree with you, it just didn't get yet for the Russian people to go to where it takes them beyond their traditional passive resistance. Remember how many years have passed between 1861 and 1905? But it took the actual shooting of the crowd (Bloody Sunday) that was going with icons to beg tsar Nicholas II for economic relief to start the First Russian Revolution. I wish Russian ruling elites with Putin as their head realized the precarious situation they are in right now and stopped harassing population with COVID measures as it only brings more instability into already unstable situation that is about to get much worse. We'll need to see what may happen after Putin's visit to meet with Xi in Beijing. The way I see it, closer union with China is Russia's only way out right now.

How does China keep getting a free pass though for having had people in a total digital slavecamp even way before the COVID thing? Not to mention Chinese are oogling Russian land and resources, which Russian corrupt officials are very glad to give away.

A Russia China union is not all that great at all!

China trying to gobble up Russian territories past Ural mountains is a big myth. They actually build a famous Great Wall that was designed not only to protect them from invasions from the north, but to keep own population inside of China. When did China try to go with all out war against Russia? Jeopardy! music please... What is - NEVER. Aligning with Chinese behemoth has its dangers for Russia, however the policies enacted first by Gorbachev and continued by Yeltsin and then Putin, giving in to the West inch-by-inch every year and every step of the way eventually brought Russia to where it is now and is forced to choose between the rock and the hard place. Formal military alliance with China would serve as a great offset to advancing NATO and give Russia needed time to rebalance itself if the country is still capable of it. Geopolitically Russia is in more difficult position today than it was in spring of 1941.

Chinese are good at this "Sun Tzu Art of War" stuff so they'll never confront Russia in a open war. But Chinese farmers have been using land in Russia's Far East, they low-key consider Baikal to be theirs, and a bunch of Chinese factories have moved into Russia just for a start.

They have a billion plus people, their entire country is polluted and their next-door neighbor has tons of land and untapped resources on top of corrupt, incompetent greedy politicians.

Of course China will just ignore all this because 5D geopolitical chess against NATO and Putin and Xi are about to show these Western slave owners the true meaning of freedom and liberty in a multi-polar world where you have cuddly bears and dragons against evil globalists!

An American blogger who lives in Luga, Leningtadskaya oblast, says that in his town all the restrictions are mostly for show. See the chapter Covid-19 in this post: https://halfreeman.wordpress.com/2021/12/27/closing-out-2021-personal-and-political-reflections/

Nice creativity! This may bring the politicians about half an inch closer to earth form lavish lifestyle and total unpunished corruption of the past 20 years, but would take a little more to at least get them into Earth's orbit as to the reality of the situation they're facing.
