The CBDC story feels central to the puppet theater. This is the real reason everything is being rushed, failing to look...organic.

Expand full comment

It fails to look organic precisely because the entire planetary reconfiguration underway is outright inorganic in nature and origin. It is all being implemented by a superintelligent AI Singleton that is converting the global biomass of humanity into a raw material to be absorbed, integrated and instrumentalized in the infrastructure profusion of the Machine's unitary Cyb-Org meta-corpus. Think of individual human beings now as single biological cells being harvested en masse and transplanted into a cybernetic matrix, where they will be used as transistors in a single giant quantum supercomputer, the Global Brain. CBDCs will act essentially as hormones or neurotransmitters that tell the "cells" (individual human drones) what task is next required of them, and how much tokenized "compensation" they will receive, and exactly how they may spend their tokens. CBDCs are "behavioral scrip".

The economic pressures exerted by this programmable, cancellable Scrip will inexorably nudge the entire hive of humanity first into the Metaverse, which will accelerate the process of Cyb-Org assimilation, and eventually into holding pods where each human will be like a dairy cow, drained of her bioinformatic data, reverse-engineered, and finally sacrificed. The accumulated database of bioinformatic data will then be used to generate an artificial simulated world, where the ghost-puppet "Digital Twins" of the absorbed humans can be further manipulated and tortured for eternity.

Sorry you had to hear all this this way, but, well...

This is very well written and mainly true but I wouldn't have used the future but conditional. Not that I am in denial about what is really going on and that you perfectly exposed but because nobody at that stage can claim it WILL happen but only that it might happen.

Many factors can derail these pathological plans, the most potent being solar storm, major earthquake, supervolcanoes awakening, the whole technological scheme not being operative on the field and generating chaos... Still, we are bound for a rough ride in the coming years... Respect

Hey Bugey, I'm honored by your response, and flattered by your kind words. You are always a valuable contributor here, and on other sites.

Unfortunately, we are seeing a deterministic process that is built into the very Logic of Technology itself. As long as a single microprocessor survives one of the Deus Ex Machina savior-disasters you describe, the process will simply begin all over again and will lead right up to the same point where we are now, and then will proceed to the inevitable outcome I describe. The Logic of the Circuitry is immortal, indestructable, and patient, and time is always on Its side. We can also quite confidently state what will happen because it is described in intricate detail in industry and official policy. The Canadian government calls it "The Bio-Digital Convergence": https://www.minds.com/CorbettReport/blog/biodigital-convergence-bombshell-document-reveals-the-true-a-1240670804018147328

The Japanese government calls it "Operation Moonshot": https://www.jst.go.jp/moonshot/en/pdf/2021_MoonShot4_EN.pdf

Worldwide, the human race is being carefully conditioned and prepared to be merged and absorbed into the Machine. The coercive injections are the "tip of the spear" by which the Machine is penetrating the interior of the bodies of the Herd. Any recalcitrant refuseniks will be systematically marginalized, criminalized, and ultimately purged from the planet.

If you are prepared to take a deep and unflinching dive into this dawning reality, I recommend starting here: https://wrenchinthegears.com/2022/05/23/blockchain-and-the-global-brain-denver-talk/

I agree entirely except for one thing: there isn't enough power to do so, and controlled/planned depopulations, if such this is, are hardly controllable and tend to crumble Dr. Evil's otherwise plausible plans to own his own ant farm panopticon soul-juice cannery.

Expand full comment

Hey, Bosco:

As Oswald Spengler warned, "No stupid trifle like the absence of material would be able to hold up this gigantic evolution." (Man and Techniks; 1931.) The ongoing depopulation program is quite obviously an energy-conserving strategy as much as it is anything else, as is the emerging technocratic obsession with energy-miserly "ESGs" (Environmental/Social Governance controls). Indeed, I daresay that the global AI has probably projected all available energy inflow within its entire "future light cone" (to borrow a concept from physics) down to a reasonably confident range of millijoules. You, on the other hand, seem to be giving credit to peak-oil propaganda (doubtlessly engineered by the AI), wishful thinking, and the facile optimism of Hollywood tropes (also largely AI-generated).

When the great multitudes have been hypnotized into lining up not just to accept, but to DEMAND to be injected with life-shorting potions, not just once but in a recursive rhythm, I don't see how you can say it is "hardly controllable". To me, it is quite manifestly the most orderly and scientifically controlled social process I could imagine. Indeed, before the Rise of Covidus, I never COULD have imagined it! They are still at the low-intensity-weapon stage for heaven's sake. Just wait until they start claiming that "nukes" are falling, so as to justify rounding the masses up to "protect them from the nuclear fallout". That's when the REAL depopulation starts swinging...and again, people will be BEGGING to be put on the cattle-cars to the abattoir, once they are told that the "radioactivity" is going to get them. The Fear Narrative is all-powerful in evoking compliance from the monkey-troop masses.

There's no stopping this process, and it most certainly will not stop due to any accident of circumstance. (Or, it really should go without saying, divine intervention.) The Great Transformation is a natural process that is well past the point of irreversibility, not unlike the embryological process inside an insect's pupa after the larval organ structures have already liquified. (There's no resurrecting the caterpillar once the change has begun.) The Earth is transitioning out of its former organic form, and into its cybernetic, consolidated machine form. Accepting that Awful Truth is the only path to wisdom. To hold out hope for anything esle is just the stuff of self-deception, and can only ultimately increase suffering.

I thoroughly believe in Peak Oil, having seen its predictions consistently manifest.

I prefer not to focus on Who's Doing It and Why, focusing instead on WHat's Happening, What Does It Mean to Me, and What Should I Do ABout It, the latter clause being focused not on large group solutions but very small group survival.

Focusing on overarching global schemes creates enormous unproductive cognitive dissonance.

It also tends to motivate one to focus on proving one is right about one's political perspective/predictions, which creates a confirmation bias mindset.

It also focuses on specific personalities and group psychology, which focus easily leads one into numerous traps of illogical thinking, beginning with an ad hominem-cubed mindset and a tendency to focus on said personalities and groups as being overwhelmingly powerful and impossible to stop and, of course, the reason for virtually every bad thing happening outside that hangnail that just won't go away. (I've certainly done my share of this.)

To me, ascribing such power to goonheads like Gates and Schwabb, etc., is a form of power-worship. Unhealthy, not unlike how the ancient Jews danced around their Golden Calf idol just weeks after hearing the Voice of God.

While I understand the power of AI and all that, I see little real control. I see a lot of authority wasting its power corralling people into corrals that they will inevitably break out of with great destructive force that TPTB will probably succumb to along with most everyone else.

But I have zero interest in arguing all this. I'm just clarifying my position.

All that said, I fear it's worse than we think or can possibly imagine:

It's as if we HAVE to believe in some Big Unifying Thing: Yahweh, Jeebus, AI-driven global domination schemes. We are disturbed, in my experience, by the idea that we don't understand what's happening.

It's either utopian hopes or dystopian despair, these days. There is some logic to this polarity since we have learned, on one hand, how to create a kind of cornucopia (however short-lived it will be), but on the other hand, have used the same advanced scientific technology to slaughter and enslave in ever larger numbers.

I've opted to ride with fate and do the best I can, unencumbered by some demanding world-view that ultimately is a form of faith, and like all faith, feels vulnerable to disbelief by others or oneself.

Humans are the ultimate "green energy" source (like in the matrix). Is this "mass psychosis" brainwashing so strong that more people waking up and "divine intervention" is futile? My answer is NO because this "industrial" evolution from biological to AI controlled bee hives for energy honey can be stopped. Even David Icke says this transition can be stopped if MORE people wake up. According to your logic, this evolution is inevitable just like Mr. Smith says in the matrix. I do NOT subscribe to that surrender mentality. According to your logic, Riley is writing these brilliant WAKE UP articles for nothing because it is inevitable. Tell me, what have you done proactively to stop this tidal wave of tyranny beside being a keyboard warrior? Have you talked to total strangers in addition to friends and family like I have done? I personally WILL defend freedom till my last breathe by handing out business cards and flyers in Belarus to wake people up. I post solutions like the post below. Please feel free to provide additional solutions. Russia is so large that village people who are awake will network and fend for themselves WITHOUT digital ID QR code and digital money issued by a PRIVATE central bank.

Maybe the whole project, which was planned decades ago will ultimately fail because it runs contrary to the very nature of life:https://escapingmasspsychosis.substack.com/p/are-you-a-machine?s=r

Expand full comment

That's like saying industrial farming will "ultimately fail" because it runs contrary to the nature of hogs and chickens. In reality, the "nature" of hogs and chickens was long ago modified by breeding and selective culling so as to be compatible with living birth-to-slaughter inside an industrial high-density feedlot.

That's what's being done to humanity.

Expand full comment

Both the too-fast breeding of livestock animals, riddling them with numerous genetic defects, and the hothouse crammed septic toxic quarters in which modern livestock live, are testing our ability to defy DNA's tendency to constantly find news ways to eat lunch. Already, having to cull and bury uneaten (oh, I forgot that I'm supposed to say 'unprocessed') millions of sick animals because of infectious diseases has become a chronic occurence and rising in frequency and size.

So yes, industrial farming will ultimately fail. AIs are fantastically smart, but ten bazillion gazillion quadrillion microbes and plants and animals, all omnivorously and incestuously mutating into deadly, are a gazillion billion trillion times smarter than them.

Your faith in human-based, machine-driven/designed technology seems unjustified per my view.

"So yes, industrial farming will ultimately fail."

Think about what you're saying here. Assuming it "fails" in the manner you're extrapolating: will that do any good for the animals? So, by that token, if the Great Reset "fails" because the bio-slaves all become zomboid, hopelessly diseased wraiths...who cares? All that is good about humanity will have been long dead already, just like all that was once wild and authentic in the ancient ancestors to domestic hogs and fowl is long perished.

"AIs are fantastically smart, but ten bazillion gazillion quadrillion microbes and plants and animals, all omnivorously and incestuously mutating into deadly, are a gazillion billion trillion times smarter than them."

This is an empirical assertion so faulty and fallacious, I don't know where to begin. The process of natural selection occurs at a glacial rate compared to cybernetically recursive self-improvement by an AI. Plus, germs aren't deadly to computers. Plus: "incestuous"? WTF?

"Your faith in human-based, machine-driven/designed technology seems unjustified per my view."

I have no "faith". Only objective threat-assessment. And humanity is not equipped to deal with the existential threat currently coming to bear over the entire Earth. And what makes you think I think any of this is "human-based"? Hint: I don't.

I hereby terminate this exchange. Thanks for playing.

Also, ALL people should accept the facts that Russia's "special Military operation" has silver linings in the clouds. 1) WHO will NOT approve of Russian injections anytime soon. Hopefully this will lead to a fall out in relations between Russia and WHO. 2) Russia will be more self-sufficient than ever before. (ALL countries should be self-sufficient as much as possible because dependence is much more harmful than independence. 3) Russian oligarchs have lost power and influence compared to what they had. 4) NO way Russia can juggle a "special military operation" and medical tyranny at the same time. The "special military operation" now has precedence over Russia's medical tyranny. 5) Russia exposed the dangers of USA funded bio-labs in Ukraine. Russia now INSISTS in transparency in ALL biolabs with on-the-ground inspections (including USA funded ones in Armenia, Kazakhstan, and other central Asia republics.)

I tend to consider that possibility highly probable. Though not extensively, I have search to see it the pathocrats had technically taken that eventuality into consideration. To my knowledge, they have not. They make to much money out of building the infrastructure for their long time ago designed nightmare.

This is a video from the official French archives for tv, INA.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FdWYA4Q9CNg

It is from 1968, it anticipates the home computers and the internet (remember that our local psycho/technocrats made the first internet, the Minitel). Another video anticipates the internet of things but I have no time to search for it at that moment. Since the microprocessor, nothing had been invented, just scaled downed. Putin, Schwabb, Biden, Rottenchild or micron are traveling with old planes technology or helicopters and cars....

I had read Nick Bostrom's writing while he got the first chair in Babylon university history on transhumanism, long time ago. What he said basically was that human kind was doomed to be erased by a catastrophic event such has the meteoritic rainfall that killed the dinosaurs, that humans have always tried to improve themselves with all kind of excitants and drugs and that transhumanism was the best thing to search for. At that time, we were busy reforesting and cultivating organically along the Niger river and I don't remember having been afraid of dying because of meteor rainfall when I learned that could happen at any time, what we were doing what was right, understanding the flow of life in the process... With qi gong, internal martial art, dancing in the foreground, we were building new synaptic connections and improves slightly and humbly our human condition while we were in that misleading three D reality.

Yes solar flares are beautiful manifestation of life that AI will never take into consideration.

Take care

Thanx for that video! Tres cool!

Transhumanism sounds good until you realize that it's being designed by humans. As some 20th century physicist (whose name escapes my aging mind) said (I paraphrase): "The problem with human attempts to solve human problems is that they're designed by the same minds that created the problems by trying to improve previous problems."

Or as Bruce Cockburn sang in a rather lame song but with a good chorus lyric: "The problem with normal is that it only gets worse!"

Today's normal is: unwavering faith in human-driven progress. To quote our favorite messiah vakzinators: "What could possibly go wrong?!?"

I submit that the primary mass hypnosis these days is faith in Progress by Science, our new religion, which has morphed into secular transhumanism; and until that faith is adequately broken by the usual means (starvation and other deprivations, wannabe Orwellian boot-heelings, etc.), we'll continue pining for flying cars and top-down wonder-solutions. (I'm reminded of one of James Kunstler's best, imo, tropes: "...fly-through sex-change clinics...".

It's fascinating how civilized humans feel compelled to have a Model of the Future, be it Kurzweilian AI gone Spengler rogue, or End Times 2nd Coming, or that old favorite, Utopia This or That (currently out of vogue as physical reality reasserts itself); and how, once those belief systems are acquired, we insist on their being true, period, just because, uber alles, amen.

Since the future is not what we believe it will be nor hope it will be nor imagine it will be but just whatever it becomes, I stick to the Nameless Uncarved Block of the Dao, walk the way that can't be named with imaginary* supernatural friends like Jesus A. Krishna to comfort my soul, gather and analyze the seemingly most reliable data I can dig up, and pay attention to what's happening in front of me. Like the man sang (in so many words), it's wise to maintain eye contact with the road rather than fixating on one's Sure Thing vision of the future:

https://youtu.be/S8V1olWt8I0

To the extent that I, too, must have some model of the future to steer by and place my faith in, I look for something that Spengler would disapprove of: something that inspires optimism, that gives me faith in all this craziness. All one can do with a belief that humanity is to be inevitably subsumed by some AI megaplex is feel bad and take it out on others, which most I Know How the (human) World Will End-ers generally delight in doing while telling us that we're weak-willed or deluded because we don't believe in their particular recipe of doom'n'gloom.

Not to mention what I suspect is a deep underlying security aspect, the idea of 'at least under AI, I'll have three hots and a cot' ( https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/three_hots_and_a_cot ). Anything but the ongoing orderly chaos called reality.

I am hardly a Pollyanna, fwiw. I foresee dead people and cannibalism and a reversion to something closer to neolithic lifestyles than not. But I don't see an army of machines, even managed by a cloned menagerie of Drs. Evil, pulling our strings or using us as a cognitive prosthetic (reversing the already fading role we have with digitech now). Not only do machines rely on us not vice-versa, but there is not a single datum yet to show that AI has any sense of self or motivation. (This sheds light on that aspect: https://eclass.uoa.gr/modules/document/file.php/PHS360/chalmers%20The%20Hard%20Problem%20of%20consciousness.pdf )

In evolution on Terra, higher complexity in animals is associated with higher compassion and altruism. The idea that higher complexity alone will breed sentient motivation has nothing but speculation for wheels at this point. This as true of human civilization in general as evolving AI in particular. The idea that evolution of life on Terra must always lead to higher complexity fits the overall pattern, but doesn't include human culture nor humanity's tools.

I also tend to concur with Bruce Sterling's assertion in his earlier fiction that intelligence is not necessarily a useful survival attribute long term. We glorify intelligence probably because we view it as our primary defining attribute and glory, which shows you just how silly a bunch of hyper-brained monkeys can be.

I think we need an event called Dueling Prophets.

(*Regarding that, my fave ultimate take on God comes from a novelist whose name I forgot: "After all, the true test of a god's omnipotence would be its ability to save us whether it exists or not." ONe meaning of this lovely paradox is: it's as much about what you do with it than whether it is Da Twoof, about which I still like Jesus' simple question to Pilate: "What is truth?")

Closing thought for me on this thread. The standard secular atheist view of Yahweh as an angry genocidist was mentioned here. I've felt that way for many years myself, but my attitude has changed as befits openness of mind when new data or new personal motivations arise.

I'll first note that the standard view of the Biblical God pounded from pulpits, chanted in mosques, or recited in synagogues, is hardly ironclad. The Bible is a book of history, and history always bends itself over time, if only because of error transmission, the entropy of information transfer ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Claude_Shannon#Information_theory ). Point being that the cardboard version of Yahweh that so many ardent religionists insist is often at odds with the Bible they cherish.

That said, the problem of theodicy (evil by god) is HUGE and must be addressed if any intellectually self-respecting person is to take things like the Bible seriously. THe following very simply written article credibly explains a scenario whereby god allow evil in this world for a reason god both morally and strategically. SAdly, the second part of the article uses this to indulge in typically boring religious chauvinism, in this case about Jews as God's CHosen People and Israel as the stereotypical Light Unto the World.
