"The problem is population": Gref's Davos-endorsed yogi seems nice
A wise mystic taught Sberbank's CEO how to open his 7 chakras and enslave humanity
Yesterday your Still-Stuck-In-Tbilisi Correspondent was aimlessly scrolling through Twitter when he stumbled upon a curious video montage of a friendly Indian man talking about the joys of population control and unproven genetic slurries.
“All the religious groups are against me because I’m talking about population. They want more souls, I want less on the planet,” the friendly man says while standing in front of a giant World Economic Forum logo, before bursting into uproarious laughter.
Another lifehack from the same bearded sage: “It may look like there are many problems, but actually there’s only one problem. We are nice but we are just too many… Believe me, it is much easier to control human population than human aspirations.”
A third and final commandment: “It is very important that everybody gets vaccinated… Right now, vaccination is a must for everybody…. the philosophies of anti-vax—this is just rubbish.”
Wait a second…that face looks familiar….
Is that Sadhguru, Herman Gref’s favorite yogi/Instagram influencer? Yes; correct.
But why is this celebrated mystic shilling clot-shots and hanging out with the Schwab-worshipping CEO of Russia’s creepiest bank? Nobody knows. But here is Sadhguru’s bio on the World Economic Forum’s website, for those who might be interested:
Judging by photographs on the internet, Gref and Sadhguru have known each other for many years. But for the sake of brevity let’s begin our tale in 2018, at the dawn of Sberbank’s spiritual awakening.
“What will tomorrow bring?”
We’ve time-traveled back to 2018; Herman Gref is moderating a panel discussion at the annual St. Petersburg International Economic Forum called “Transitional World: What Will Tomorrow Bring?”
Maxim Akimov, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation
Meir Brand, Vice-President, Google Inc.
Guo Ping, Rotating Chief Executive Officer, Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd.
…. and our boy, Sadhguru.
Sadhguru had a wonderful message. Technology will free us! Yes, there will still be “abuses of power,” but there will be no need to worry about jobs or material possessions or anything else because you will have lots of free time for focusing on self-development —
“Over the past millennium mankind battled to survive. In the next 25 years this battle will come to an end and people will be able to freely develop their skills. The amount of computing power you possess will be the most important thing. This will be the dominating factor. People can look forward to a great era. In the next 25-30 years the concept of dominance will disappear. There will still be abuses of power, but the benefits will be much bigger. Tomorrow, companies or nations will not dominate. People will dominate. And when that happens, human genius will reach its potential. You’ll wake up in the morning and you won’t have to think about where to work,” predicted Sadhguru, yogi and founder of the Isha Foundation. “The ambition to get rich will disappear because you will already by wealthy. If technology continues to develop in the current way then we will have more free time.”
Or in layman’s terms, “You will own nothing and be happy.”
Gref had his own deep thoughts.
“We have already moved away from the traditional, familiar world order and set off on a journey to the world of the future, which is yet to be fully mapped out,” the (now former?) WEF Board of Trustees member told the audience.
And then everyone probably clapped.
Not the yogi we need, but surely the yogi we deserve
Anyway. According to this very interesting article, Sadhguru has been involved in all sorts of mystical activities, like allegedly murdering his wife.
More recently he provided valuable input for The Great Narrative, the latest WEF erotic novella by Klaus Schwab and Thierry Malleret.
Seems like a nice guy.
Why would a supposed guru have a WEF bio? Wouldn't his own aesthetic demand he own nothing? Oh wait the other side of that is we'll own (and control) everything...
This Sadhguru character - Is anyone else bothered by him speaking about overpopulation being a problem, "we are too many"...and following that up by speaking about how we all need to get vaccinated for the health and benefit of the world?? The stench of bs is overwhelming.
Yep: Line up, expose your arm, help control world population HERE !
