Hello internet friends and enemies,
A few updates and announcements for you.
Maybe you have some Sputnik V data?
I’ve been compiling the latest available data on Sputnik V’s post-injection “complications”. Obviously, there is zero data from Russia because Russia’s Health Ministry apparently thinks it could discourage people from getting injected. Something like that. They have their reasons.
I already dug up the latest figures from Mexico and Argentina. Maybe you know of other countries that use Sputnik V and disclose reported side effects? If you are able to provide any links in the comments below, I would be eternally grateful. Thank you.
Maybe you have some articles you can share with me?
I’m looking for articles, videos, or podcasts that argue Russia and China are “playing along” with COVID as part of a larger geopolitical conflict. I’m interested in better understanding this perspective and want to hear/read the best arguments for it.
You will make me a very happy blogger if you could share any links you might have on this subject. Alternatively, materials arguing against this viewpoint would also be welcome. But my objective here is to expose myself to the most compelling arguments that Russia and China are engaged in mere theater, while the West is blowing its brains out with a biosecurity shotgun. Any help you can provide (using the comments section, or emailing me at: riley dot waggaman at gmail dot com) would be immensely appreciated.
“Why is Edward asking for this?” you may be wondering.
A gentleman never tells.
I PROMISE TO FINISH THE Q&A
You need to know something: I feel profoundly guilty for taking so long to answer the thoughtful questions that many of you asked more than a month ago. So far I’ve managed to answer… 2 out of 50?
All of your questions will be answered. I will also solve all of your life problems. Hopefully by next Friday.
New commenting policy: Please don’t poop in the pool
Ed Slavsquat has some of the best commenters on the World Wide Web. If we’re talking about the English-language “Russia watchers” e-space, arguably a top three destination for insightful comments.
This blog would be a sad place without the input, observations and counter-arguments put forward by anonymous internet people.
What I think makes “our” comments section unique is that you can usually find a wide range of viewpoints—from observers located all over the world—and, for the most part, we all continue to peacefully coexist on the internet.
This is very unusual! In many parts of the internet—especially in “pro-Russia” corners of the web—any kind of deviation from the Approved Narrative is met with howls and accusations of CIA shilling.
Let’s not do this, friends. It’s 100% A-OK to disagree and offer counter-arguments and different perspectives—in fact, this is most welcome here at Slavsquat—but please keep your comments ideas-focused and refrain from futile, highly speculative, and bad-karma personal attacks.
If you have beef with another commenter, just ignore them or settle it “off-blog”. If you think someone has their facts wrong, please address the facts, and not the person.
We have a nice pool for internet people to swim in. Maybe one of the best pools ever. Please don’t poop in the pool.
Thank you.

I would personally love to see you have another debate/interview with Matt Ehret. That panel discussion you guys did a few months back had a lot of potential in my opinion, but I think a one on one discussion between you and Matt would work better and be very interesting to listen to, in my opinion.
