“…his long illustrious career, which among other triumphs includes an embezzlement scandal, and also non-stop failure.” Snorted my coffee right out my nose. Thank you for starting off my day with helpless giggling (and snorting).

It seems the world class crooks, regardless of where they ply their expertise, are not shy about it. If someone shines the light on them, which doesn't happen often enough, they lie about it.

If journalism ever fails you (which it won’t) comedy would be a great alternative. You’re very funny in these unfunny times.

It is late spring with warm summer right around the corner in the Northern Hemisphere. I implore EVERYONE reading Riley's article to be PROACTIVE and be more than a keyboard warrior. Talk to people (friends, relatives, strangers, hand out WAKE-UP business cards and WAKE-UP flyers. I was in a local park today and 5 young teenagers initiated a curious question conversation with me after watching me collecting trash and fallen tree branches. A young Belarusian girl (about 13 years) used google translate on her phone and asked me what I was doing in Belarus. I told her that my job is STOPPING people getting "vaccinations". She told me IN ENGLISH and I quote, "You are a nice man". So bottomline> Be proactive and STOP bystander apathy.

Riley, excellent use of humor to frame a very serious subject. Yeah, there are some people who still put forth Tom Luongo as an authority on the current situation, a guy who thought Sputnik V was just......GREAT.

There's something naive Westerners who romanticize "based Eastern Europe" don't understand about the East: shit like this is the norm, disgusting slime balls and thugs like Gintsburg are the Eastern elite.

His genuine wiki is weirder in it's way than your hilarious bio of him:

Alexander Leonidovich Gintsburg (Russian: Александр Леонидович Гинцбург; born 10 November 1951) is a Soviet and Russian microbiologist. Since 1997, he has been the director of the Gamaleya Research Institute of Epidemiology and Microbiology.[1] He is Jewish.[2]

Ah, politics and their bureaucrats. We deserve the leaders we tolerate. The world needs more madmen marksmen. Sadly, they mostly get hired by madmen with money, our favorite kind of king: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UXqwh2o_zzs (When I clicked this WWII military How to Kill training video was preceded, hilariously, by a commercial exhortation from the SandyHook Promise group urging a ban on assault rifles).

On a side note> Another example of Russian oligarchs have stolen the wealth of Russia. Russia's "special military operation" WILL weaken Russian oligarchs power and influence INSIDE Russia.

MOSCOW, May 28. /TASS/. Russian law enforcement agencies will look into reports that former Rusnano chief Anatoly Chubais, who has left the country, may have concealed accounts in European banks, law enforcement sources told TASS on Saturday.

Agents are interviewing Chubais’ associates, the sources said.

"Law enforcement agencies will look into reports about hidden accounts that Chubais may have in European banks," a source said. "The amount of foreign currency there may be in billions."

The sources didn’t name the banks that "may keep the impressive amounts that were possibly gained by illegal means," citing ongoing investigation.

TASS hasn’t been able to obtain official comments from Russian law enforcement agencies or Chubais’ representatives by the time this report was published.

It was earlier reported that Chubais is in Italy and doesn’t plan to return to Russia to testify as a complainant in a case about the theft of assets worth 70 million rubles. According to a source close to the former CEO, he left Russia on a private plane to Turkey and then traveled on to Europe. According to preliminary data, he’s currently in Italy, where he has property.

The wages of sin is a 480% boost in income. I vaguely remember a time when sin paid significantly worse wages than that.
