I was skeptical until I saw the map. Those arrows are really serious.

Comrade, a little ptetzha told me there is a new avian-gonorrhea waiting in the wings.

Be scared, be very scared.

I am still trying to understand the meaning of the music video at the end of the story! I was kind of taken by the high quality of mixing and mastering (that's the "old normal" sound engineering nerd in me.... OMG the past two years have been ridiculous) Anyway, excellent mixing and mastering. :)

For no reason at all, here is one that is even more confusing. Sorry.

Pskov region is the ONLY oblast in Russia that borders with two EU countries (Latvia, Estonia) as well as Belarus. (Pskov region is next to however does NOT include Saint Petersburg.) Maybe, just maybe, these restrictive measures are related to the "special military operation" and NOT related to "illness cases" because the entire Russia Federation had only 2,541 "cases" on Monday, June 27. The number of hospitalized patients decreased in 6 regions, while in 66 regions the figure increased. The hospitalized cases remained unchanged in 13 regions currently recorded day over day.

Estonia> Also interesting to note is that Russian foreign ministry advised Russians to abstain from traveling to Estonia because of Tallinn's hostile attitude. Estonia has imposed "Penalties for ‘smuggling’ to include both fines and prison sentences: up to 3 years for one person and up to 5 years for a group of people. The Estonian authorities do not hide the fact that the real purpose of the restrictions is to hit ordinary Russian citizens," the Russian Foreign Ministry pointed out.

Latvia> Gublis, Latvia’s ex-interior minister, wrote on his Telegram channel on Monday, June 27 that the EU and NATO were ready to "take back" Kaliningrad.

On final note> Congo-Crimean hemorrhagic fever (CCHF) is RECORDED REGULARLY EVERY YEAR in the south of Russia ( in the Stavropol Region, Rostov, the Astrakhan and Volgograd Regions, Kalmykia, Dagestan, Ingushetia, Karachay-Cherkessia and Kabardino Balkaria).

This illness occurs when humans are bitten by ticks and or have open wounds that get bacterial infected when near livestock.

Oryol Oblast just announced it was extending COVID restrictions until September. It's not on the border (although it's close): https://xn--80aesfpebagmfblc0a.xn--p1ai/news/20220628-1933.html

The thing about the Pskov restrictions is that they have very little to do with biosecurity. It includes really random stuff like restrictions on hookah lounges, etc. Not sure how strictly it's all enforced, though.

Re: CCHF. The emergence of the new "strain" made me chuckle. once I saw the Daily Mail infographic, I knew I had to type something up. just for a laugh.

Yes, a sense of humor is admirable, especially yours. Just imaging Philosopher falling out of his chair with laughter after reading your writing allows one to smile.

I am disappointed that our paths will not meet in Moscow next week since you are on vacation now. However I really think we will meet someday since we are "neighbors" and mostly think alike.

The Baltic countries government officials hate on Russia. Sentencing a Russian who has relatives in Estonia and tries to "smuggle" caviar into Estonia could now be put in prison. The Baltic countries want Russians to blame/hate on their Russian government. However, in my humble opinion, I do NOT think that "hate" tactic will work..

People worldwide (including Russians) should realize that even if this "special military operation" stops tomorrow, these barbaric EU sanctions against Russia are here to stay. Aeroflot Russian airlines will NOT be able to fly to USA/EU/Japan/Canada/UK/Australia for years as a punishment.

Federation Council Speaker Valentina Matviyenko said on Tuesday, June 29>

"Some hope that everything will be like it was before again. We all understand very well that it won’t. Some expect that sanctions will be lifted. The collective West introduced them NOT for that. Their aim is clear - to stop Russia’s development. To subjugate Russia. None of this will happen. ****We have been living under certain sanctions since Ivan the Terrible," she added.***** Matviyenko stressed that the Western sanctions had failed to ruin the Russian economy. "No one should have any doubts that, despite all the difficulties, we will endure and be stronger. Russia is a country of great opportunities and of smart and talented people.".

I ask myself> Why is there so much hatred against Russia? My opinion is that centuries ago Russia kicked out the satanic Khazarians from the country and the Khazarians threatened to take revenge. Some people may scoff at this however I am very serious.

Hello Anri,

It is a sad news you give us, the Slavsquat community. I know how much our pets, especially cats are important in our lives. i have already talk to you about "Pique puce" and I would be very sad also if she would die. We are to remain philosopher somehow and accept death as part of life. I wish the inevitable mourning period won't last to long, remember our tears are proof of us not being psychopaths. And I wish a cute kitten will by some magic enter your life.

Your french friend "Bugey"/Lionel

I send my condolences to you. Riley and Bugey libre have already sent their condolences so I felt to add mine as well. Like Bugey Libre said, maybe a "kitten will magically enter your life". Only time will help heal a loss like that. Fond remembrance is an eternal bond that one embraces and forever feels in the heart.

An outdoor cat resides at the residence where I live. Rizhik (Russian word for red/orange) is her name and she is a special cat who just "appeared" as an abandoned young stray in October 2019. I made the decision to take care of her and also have her neutered only because I did not want to be responsible for all those future kittens. She became nauseated and weak after this medical procedure however she quickly recovered after 3 days. I feel sad and guilty about making this decision however there is a male pure red/orange cat in the neighborhood that will provide future other red/orange cats. Rizhik is well fed and stays very healthy and only had an eye infection that lasted less than 2 weeks and a small cut on her paw that healed naturally.

Many thanks to Riley for another very funny informative article.

Thank you Perception Deception for providing more relevant information about the area you are living in. In France there are a lot of ticks. In the are I live, it is almost impossible to go out in the wood without being bitten. These weird animals carry Lyme disease.

We are dealing with a mentally sub-normal invidual, Bill Gates. The fact that he pays half the world's media to paint him as sane, let alone saintly, reflects on us journalists.

Meanwhile, the media demeans the people of Ukraine while purporting to champion them.

Presenting rural folk as downtrodden victims may fit the narrative, but it overlooks the fact that, even under attack, these are resilient, proud rural stock - salt of the earth.

We need to give due dignity, even during crisis, and not print images of babushki clutching plastic dolls.

Till the fraudulent nature of the entire "Covid" scam and indeed virology in general is revealed, we will be playing whack-a-mole, tying to deal with one hype, one lie, one fabrication, after another. Thanks for this expose, Riley. See this new item about the way the "Covid" scam was born, Dec 2019 and Jan 2020. The page has a short extract, and a link to the full piece, which is in the form of a PDF file. You can skim through the astrology stuff if that's not your thing, it isn't mine.
